Carlos “Dj Killpack” Killpack – Release
Today I’ve released the album Dj Killpack on Jamendo. It’s a really short two-track release that I, frankly, don’t like. You might because you might have a thing for electronic dance music. I like it on occasion but it really isn’t my thing. Read More…
Knightsbridge Priory
I’m going to be recording a 10 track album (or possibly an EP, I’m not too familiar with the naming conventions of albums) over the next few weeks in a sort of tag-team effort with El Salvadorian artist Edward Santos (he’s my cousin and visiting from El Salvador.
I’ll make sure to fill you in on the download and purchase details as soon as they become available.
Update:
We ran out of time…and it didn’t work out, sorry guys; it would have been great.

Show
I’m playing at my church at a talent show on the 12th. Just so you know. I’m playing one song by Coldplay (blech), one by The Beatles, and one by Interpol. Should be fun. By the way, I didn’t decide the song list the pianist I’m playing with (Jorge) did. And I forgot to tell you that this is a callborative effort between Jorge, myself, and a friend of ours named Joe. I don’t paricularly like Coldplay but any chance to play is a good opprotunity that I’ll not pass up.

I just found the most awesome thing I have ever found! The Indie Band Survival Guide!!!! Sure, sure that doesn’t sound so hot but I thought it was cool.
I’m Getting Paid
Blind Date
Ohh, I know what you’re thinking. I went on a blind date and I want to tell everyone about how wierd, awesome, or creepy it was, right? Well, no. These are actually the lyrics to a song I’m writing called blind date. Not as juicy but still cool. Here it goes.
He’s sitting in the schoolyard
Studying his books
She’s waiting for the bus to come
Why’s it always late?
Neither knows the other exists
His buddy says that he has no life
That he only exists for work ‘n strife
Her best friend desides to set her up
On a blind date to get her out of a rut
They meet at the steakhouse, seven sharp
He’s dressed up in a suit, shes not
Who’s this guy in a shit and a tie?
Does she know I gotta study at nine?
He looks at her he’s got nothing to say
She says to him “Where you from anyway?”
They start to talk and find out that they
Live the same life ‘cept he has better grades.
…
That’s all I got so far, pretty cool so far though, right? I’ll leave this post alone until I finish the song and then I’ll update the post with the finished lyrics and (eventually) a link to the finished song.
Hello Everyone!
My name is Carlos Killpack I am the host of Indie Invasion and I’ve finally gotten around to trying my hand at producing my own music. I truly hope you enjoy the music that should be appearing here in the next few months.
Eventually, I don’t know when at the moment though, I’ll be publishing music written by yours truly. That’d be me. So check back often for updates. Before anything happens I need a recording studio (obviously) so as soon as that happens music will start showing up here as I produce it.
